Amazing technology, only 1 flaw
Amazing item, as a family we can rest knowing Nan has her meds at a certain time and they are easy to get to and she is taking the right amount. The only flaw is there is no volume for the alarm and it’s rather quiet especially because this item is probably used most by the elderly. Yes the red light flashes but the alarm my Nan can’t hear, if there was an option for it to be set higher would have made this perfect. Apart from the one flaw this item is amazing!!! 9.5/10 from me

We are trying to keep mom at home as long as possible. But it is extremely important that she take her medications timely. This is not an easy task for her. But this pillbox is making it a little bit easier. She doesn't always hear the alarm even though it is reasonably audible, but that is not the fault of the box. She doesn't always remember to take the medication even when she does hear the alarm and does recognize that it's time, but again that's not the fault of the box. She is definitely more likely to be compliant now than she was before, and that's something. We feel like we received value for the money and that the item works appropriately

This is the best gift for someone with dementia.

A los 5 meses de uso, salió un mensaje de Error en la pantalla. Pensamos que eran las pilas, las cambiamos pero siguió con el mensaje y sin funcionar. No hay garantía....

my mom used it for two weeks and no more back and forth checking whether it's the right pills at the right time. Two thumbs up! However, the time runs faster and faster after the 1st year and it's about 10 minutes earlier than the standard time. This screws up my voice reminder which is set to the standard time.

Purchased this for my mother who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s dementia and started on medications for high blood pressure. Medications we certainly did not want her to take more than she needed and only when she needed. It has been a godsend. Able to set for multiple dispensing times a day. Alarm can be set loud enough it can be heard throughout the house. There is no ignoring it. Shuts off after you empty pills in your hand. She has repeatedly said if it wasn’t for the alarm she wouldn’t remember to take her medications. Locks and she has not figured out how to open it...she has tried. The lock is not easily visible so she was unaware it required a key until she saw me fill the box. Hide the key. However, with her dementia she she has since forgotten. Replaced the batteries once after about 4-5 months. Highly recommend this item and have done so with friends, family members, coworkers, and other healthcare providers. I am a nurse and have done discharge planning in a hospital for years. This is a Great item to assist with medication compliance, a common issue with elderly patients who require repeat admissions to the hospital.
