RVLP-2B Propane Gas Alarm - 2-Wire, Black

The item worked as advertised. It was easy to install and had good instructions. Fit nicely in the opening in our 19ft Airstream trailer, and all appears to be working well.

This unit installed easy and looks great. Excellent replacement sensor.

I had a CO/propane detector that failed. This unit was a perfect replacement for the failed one - EXCEPT it is a propane detector ONLY! Does not detect carbon monoxide! However, it fits perfectly in the spot wher the failed one was installed. AND it's easy for a novice to install the unit.

I had to replace the old alarm that was bulky and kept being pushed off the wall from the other side. This alarm has a slim profile and installs flush to the wall, perfect.

Arrived on time and in good condition, as described, appears to work fine so far, was relatively easy to install.

Thought I'd share that I'm happy finding this product. I initially bought a different propane gas detector and returned it because it didn't match the size of the original one and would have entailed some work to cover the gaps. This one came with 2 mounting plate options and one was perfect for our need. It looks better than the original. What's also great is that this detector has a supply voltage threshold of 9 to 15V (13.5V nominal), which is perfect if you have lithium battery/solar pv system. Just some info missing or couldnt find in the manual is what amperage of fuse is needed. My old one required a 1A which I dont have so I just put my smallest for now, which is 5A. We have a battery controller and monitor and know that our highest voltage is about 13.5V so we should be within the treshold. Hope this product will last as it claims. Thanks.
