iSteady X2

I am sincerely in love with this new released iSteady X2 gimbal. Though I am a new beginner, this gimbal is still easy to carry on. I have used this product to make some great videos with my friends and it was so fabulous. The device itself seems great, sturdy and well made. I have compared this one with the DJI OSMO 4, I would say I will never regret the choice of hohem gimbal coz it really lives up to the type. There are different one-tap template within the APP such as dolly zoom and inception mode. I like the Face Tracking and Gesture Control features, which made it much easier to take a photo from distance. Moreover, I love the remote most!!! I can take photos with my friends or use this lightweight gimbal during travel. What really surprised me was the reverse charging. With this function, this handheld gimbal can be used as an emergency battery. Overall, it is much over the value and I would definitely recommend it to my friends. Thanks, hohem for making such an amazing product.

I’m older, not good at new technology, and honestly struggled for a few minutes to figure out the set up because the instructional video they give you is actually for a different model, and it doesn’t follow this one to a T. That being said, once we got it set up, it worked so amazingly well. I took it on a two week vacation, filmed everything, including a three hour whale watching expedition. The videos were incredible even though we were bouncing around on the ocean and trying to hurriedly catch whales as they jumped out of the water. This helped us take great family selfies at dinner without having to bother a server to do it, it was fantastic! Highly highly highly highly highly recommend!

Lasted for a year and now won’t hold a charge. When it worked it worked good.

I just received my Hohem iSteady X2 gimbal from Amazon and I can't wait to try this gimbal! I like the design of the box and since I opened the box, I realized that I bought a very good quality product. The activation and registration of the gimbal were simple and straightforward. I love this gimbal which is lightweight, foldable and easy to storage. This gimbal was also amazingly can auto balance and it was very comfortable to hold. I am so fond of the moment mode which provides 7 one-tap movie templates like inception, dolly zoom, timelapse, panoramas and smart face tracking. This gimbal can also switch between landscape and portrait in one tap. The highlight for this gimbal was the remote and gesture control function. I can easily produce video with my friends during travel! The overall quality is good, affordable, and it is very easy to use. Highly recommend this to those who like to shoot videos with their phone.

Stop working want charge!!

This little gimbal was easy to use and I was so excited about its capabilities that I rushed down to Morro Bay to take nature videos with it from my kayak. Unfortunately, while filming some sea otters with it and making sure I didn't get too close, a sudden, harsh wind blew my kayak into a moored boat and I capsized, losing my new gimbal and the $1,200 IPhone attached with it.And you know what? The video I shot that day with that gimbal was probably the thing I lost that bothers me the most. I'll get another Hohem Gimbal, and I'll get another phone, though I can't afford another new Iphone. But that was some great video I took and it's at the bottom of Morro Bay.

Based on the good reviews I purchased this unit. After 2 weeks I am returning it.It will work fine for few minutes then totally go limp and lose tracking/position. Yes it is fully charged because I want to make sure it is not a battery problem.Did I get a bad unit? Don't know but it just does not work consistently.Update (6 Jan 22): Vendor keep asking me to remove this review (in exchange for a $20.00 Amazon gift card?). I don't see why it should be removed since it was an honest review (My son and I spend 2 weeks testing it since he really wanted this gimble). Maybe the vendor should send me a verified good unit to test because the one I purchased did not work consistently. Anyway, I ended up purchasing a 2D gimbal (different manufacture) and it works great.Update (10 Jan 22): Offer is now for $30.00 Amazon gift card. It makes me wonder ... maybe this product has such a good review because all the lower star rating reviews were asked to be deleted.

Seriously folks...if you need stable video GET THIS GIMBAL. Great value for the price.I'm using it with an iPhone 13 standard and I sometimes hook a Zoom iQ7 stereo condenser microphone for iPhone. The video stability is phenomenal (remember, the iPhone 13 ALSO has video stability).I typically try to record at standard 1080P (not going into 4K yet or anything fancy schmancy).I love this thing!
