Q: The zipper broke. Where can I buy a replacement cover for this bed?

If you have contacted the Laifug maker and they don't offer replacement covers, I suggest you contact a local tailor/seamstress. Sometimes dry cleaners have people who make repairs to clothing and could make a cover. Also, they may be able to replace the zipper. They could walk you through the process. Our dog loves her bed. Q: What is the appropriate setting for washing the cover? Hot, warm, cold; cottons, delicates, permanent press? What about dryer settings?

I haven't washed mine yet, but will probably wash it on warm. I just use one setting on my dryer and take it out when dry. I wouldn't think it would require delicate drying.

Q: Can this be used in a kennel?

guess you could if you find one a little smaller then the kennel you are going to put it in.

Q: Which of the foams goes on top ? I'm looking at it and it says supportive base is that the harder foam?

Actually, it is just one piece of very dense foam. It's "built to last"--but, my Corgis do NOT use it. I was so disappointed because they jumped right on it when I first put it on the floor. Then I noticed they were both on the OLD bed that's just about done for. So, I washed the cover thinking they might not like the 'new' smell. Nope, that wasn't it, they just will not lay on it but the cat does. I think the bed is great and at the first opportunity, I'm going to give it to my daughter for her Lab-- I know she will like it
