Q: Are all parts dishwasher safe?

Dear customer, It is not recommended to wash the pitcher and the black silicon lid holder part in a dishwasher. However, I'd like to note that it is very easy to wash it with hands, it takes very little time. All other parts - the filter, the lid and the coffee scoop - can we washed in a dishwasher. Q: After you remove the filter, how m much brew is left in the carafe?

Dear Customer, Thank you for the question. The mentioned volumes of the pitchers (1L and 1.5L) are for the brewed coffee. As you can see from the pictures, there is still some space after the end of the measuring line. So if you fill the pitcher with the water to the top, after the filter is removed, the water level will be right at the end of the measuring line, meaning you will have 1L or 1.5L of the ready drink. Q: Coarsely ground what kind is that is that like what you buy at the store in the cans

Most home grinders have a coarseness setting so you can adjust the grind as needed. Also, the mesh of the filter is very fine so I wouldn’t stress too much on the grind - you’re unlikely to get grounds leaking through.
