This book made me reflect on how I currently share stories and how I can apply methods to better engage my audience. This will be one of those books I’ll occasionally refer to revisit a concept. Ty Bennett's book is the most insightful guide I have ever encountered on impactful story telling and successful public speaking. Ty's insights into public speaking and leadership are obviously from one who has mastered the process. The book is quite comprehensive and touches on all aspects of competent speaking step by step. Veteran and novice speakers will benefit significantly from reading and following the tested guidelines in this book.

This was a great book regarding practical uses of different tools and mindsets in order to tell a great story. People understand what they can picture.

I was trying to find some material on how to use stories in business, since most of storytelling books base their fundaments on Campbell's "hero's journey".In a very engaging way, Ty Bennett led me through the mindset and gave me the tools to start using stories in a powerful and effective way. Very practical, simple and engaging, I recommend it for salespeople, leaders, teachers, anyone who want to improve their communication.

Ty encourages the reader withoude being condescending. He says that inspiration of great stories to tell are everywhere and we can practice his steps through them. It’s simple and an easy read. I enjoyed it.

If you sell, lead, speak or present, or if you aspire to, "The Power of Storytelling" will give you the tools you need to excel, and the reasons they work. Full of practical and useful methods as well as wonderfully inspirational examples. My copy is already marked and dog-eared and will be at my side as I polish my next speech. Buy it. Read it. Use it.

Concise, easy to read and to the point. Great examples with YouTube links for visuals. Very engaging with action steps. You'll want to always keep this book around to reference as you hone your craft.

I think, Ty has covered most of the important elements of a good story telling. There are a lot of things that are too common. and i don't like to see grammatical mistakes in a book.
