The 4" x 4" Island Dressing has a 2' X 2" pad. I actually measured it; not a SWAG.

There is about and inch or inch and a half round the gauze pad. Probably 4 1/2 x 4 1/2 or 5x5. Plenty of room for a full size gauze pad

The gauze pad, excluding the surrounding tape, is 2 in X 2 in.

Q: What is the thickness of the foam pad? I'm looking for something at least 5 mm thick, thanks.

It’s not that thick but it protects well. I fell and messed up my arm. Scrapped the skin off! This worked great at protecting that wound.
