First, I just want to thank the seller, because I received the product the day before the day I needed it. I ordered this item to use lighting the basement while cleaning after the flood. And my oh my!!!!! This product did a very good job. I use the flashlight. Very good lighting. Very bright and able to see the whole space of the room, because the bright light not just lighting the space you are pointing it too but the surrounding spaces, as well. What I love the most of this product is very lightweight. Very easy to use. Hold the charge very well. The size isn't big or bulky, but when you are a small woman with a carpal tunnel.... this is suitable for you. I love how versatile this product is. This has two charging function that is awesome, especially when your there is no electricity. This can be charged under the sun. Though it takes forever to fully charge but hey I take what I can as long as I can use it without waiting for the electricity to comes back. Very small looking lantern, but very very helpful. I am highly recommending this to anyone needs a light helper. And as long as I am ready to send my Balikbayan box to the Philippines, I will be buying some more to send it to my family that are fishermen. Because this is not just good inside the house but is very good for outdoor light and this is a waterproof, so, it is not going to get wet while on the ocean. Which is very helpful for all the fishermen. I will recommend this product, who needs a little bit of light.

I bought this set of four since we are in an area with frequent power outages. After a few weeks, I bought four more so I could put them along where I can get to them easily and then move around to turn on the rest. I finally got around to seeing how long they supply good light and the one I am using as a test is still going strong after 9 hours which is more than enough to get us through normal outages. The only comment that I can makes comes more of a wish than a complaint and that is that I wish they came in a bright color like orange or yellow. As things sometimes go, we haven't had a power outage since I bought them so let me also call them an excellent insurance policy.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:These little things worked amazing we took them camping this weekend, I did not bother to charge them before we went and there really was no need we stuck them in the Sun for the couple hours that we were there before dark and the battery lasted all night long (I have a newborn and a toddler so I needed a night light situation) they are nicer than bright and both the flashlight and lantern mode I am thinking about purchasing more

Good productI bought these lanterns because they are rechargeable. My power goes out nearly every time it rains so I was spending quite a bit of money on batteries.In the product description it claims 25 hours of run time. I tested these out as soon as I had charged them for 4 hours, what I found for continuous use about 10 hours is as long as I had useful amount of light. There is a usb port on them , I ran a USB mini fan on one of them and it lasted about 75 minutes. The battery was still good enough to run the lantern for another 6 hours, I guess the usb port is low power protected which is not an issue for me because I bought them for the lantern. Using them the same way I would a flashlight (only when necessary) I'm sure 25 hours would be accurate.They are made of plastic so you don't want to be dropping them. For 30 bucks they're definitely a good investment.

Charging Instructions read: "Indicator light is red when charging, and does not change when fully charged."So, I'm charging them first thing out of the box for 4 hours (USB). I must assume this won't overcharge them/damage anything (Only odd thing I've seen so far, I just got them). Otherwise, I like them. It also reads that "dropping on a hard ground will cause serious damage to the light".

work great as a flashlight or a lantern, give off plenty of light and with the solar panel on top it is easy to recharge them anywhere. They are compact and don't take up a lot of space, but give plenty of light.

Nice features! Flashlight and lantern in one item. Puts out good light in both modes and can be charged with built in solar panel or USB cord. Handy if ready during a power outage. I use one to shine through the white plastic gas tank on my lawn tractor to make the fuel level more visible. And, my sister put one in her car for traveling.Great for preparedness.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I ordered these lanterns based on reviews. I haven't decided if I am going to keep them or not. They are plastic. I have already had to glue the flashlight lens (can be used as lantern or flashlight the way it is designed) back onto the base as the base untwisted easily when I was unpacking and figuring them out, Not a biggie....They are only compatible with charging Android phones. again, not a biggie. I will wait until after dark to use them and see how bright they are. Charged out of the box. Each one comes with a charging cord. They are also solar chargeable, so that is also a good thing. Not waterproof, but guess inside can be used in power outages. so, Time will tell. I may keep one in my car.
