Rail19 Small Glass Foaming Soap Dispenser with Metal Pump, 5.5oz (Black)

I like foaming soap for use in my bathroom and this makes it easy to make your own soap by mixing 1 part hand soap (Dr Bonner's castile soap or Mrs Meyers hand soap) to 5 parts distilled water. The foam is very creamy! Make your soap with distilled water, you don't want tap water crud clouding up the soap mixture (since you can see it) or clogging your pump.

I absolutely love this soap dispenser! It is amazing! It is heavy enough that I don't knock it off the sink. The stainless steel pump is not flimsy and very sturdy. (Unlike other dispensers I've ordered/looked at.) The foaming action is great. (Other soap dispensers that we've owned do not foam as well and the soap comes out of the dispenser in a bubbly mess that is not, in my opinion, foam.) Our homemade soap is pumped out of the dispenser in a thick enough foam that it doesn't drip thru your fingers before you get back to the faucet to wash your hands. Small size is great for bathroom sinks because it doesn't take up a lot of real estate. This soap dispenser is more expensive. Yes! But, it is definitely better quality. It is nice to pay more for something that is ACTUALLY better quality! I will gladly pay more for items that I don't have to re-purchase when they break in a year or two! (Yes! I think products should last more than a year or two. Call me old school?!?)

UPDATE 2/2/2022 OK so months ago I wrote a nice review for this product and much of what I said still holds true I updated in Dec as noted below. I finally conceded and purchased a replacement pump and it worked great for 12 whole days so now you get 1 star instead of 5. I cannot in good conscience promote or rate highly a product that simply does not have the longevity it should have! I can purchase a cheap plastic one from the grocery store that will last years but my objective was to get away from plastic unfortunately this is not the product or supplier to achieve this. I strongly recommend finding an alternate product / supplier.Original review:While this is not a large soap dispenser I like it a lot and the size suits my needs. It also appears to be of good quality, no plastic, which is rare these days! This even came package very well, like this business really cares about their product and what they deliver to their customers. Presentation does matter and this company gets it. I liked it so much I ordered a second one. I will update when I have had it for a while to comment on the long term quality.Update 12/1/21 I bought two of these dispensers 1 has zero issues and 1 has a terrible sticking problem. I cleaned it and it still sticks. Not sure how to contact the seller to resolve. I still really like the product and think it is very good but they may have quality issues with their pumps after all as there are comments by others regarding this problem :(

I wanted a pretty soap dispenser to use with the Dial foaming soap. I searched the internet but had such a hard time finding one. This one had the best reviews and I knew I’d be able to easily return if it didn’t work. I’ve only had it for a day, but so far it works perfectly and looks just as good as it does in the photos. I plan to order a second for my kitchen. I definitely recommend!

The quality of this is excellent and feels sturdy, looks very nice, and the copper finish is brushed. For a small soap pump, it was actually bigger than expected. Like other reviewers mentioned, the tube inside doesn't go far enough to the bottom - there's about 1/4" gap - so when you're running low on soap, it can't reach the last of it. This mattered to me because I was actually going to use it for lotion, and I hate that the last of it is kind of wasted. Anyhow, I guess some people would give me a hard time for using a foaming soap dispenser for something other than what it was meant for, but in case anyone is wondering, it works fine for thick lotion but not for thinner. I ended up just cleaning it out and using it for soap instead.

I got two of their foaming dispensers about 5 months ago. I had some QC problems at first, but it wasn't with the build, just new product adjustments. Everything was sorted out with a real person who can actually talk to the people putting stuff in the box and was resolved way above expectations. Once I got the right stuff it's been going strong and I got a third.- Well worth the money- These look really nice- The soap does last forever when you dilute 1:5 for foaming- They are well-machined- They are a little tight, but that's probably because they should hold up for a long timeI felt a little silly spending this much on soap dispensers, but am glad that I did. They made all my other garbage counter accessories look bad so this set off a chain reaction of new cutting board, knife block, soap drying thing, and dishes and cup drying racks. Now everything is on par with the kitchen quality and caught up to the dispensers. It's one of those little things that once you do it you get a couple of months of that daily "why didn't I do this earlier!" feeling.

Absolutely love the simplicity and beauty of this little soap dispenser. I searched a long time for a small soap dispenser to have next to my kitchen sink that was also made for foaming hand soap. This is the perfect size, and also beautifully constructed for kitchen or bathroom. I am grateful to the company Rail19, a small family-owned company, in representing such a great product.

The dispenser is lovely. It's nicely proportioned and the oil rubbed bronze metal dispenser at the top is very nice looking and dispenses properly. It matches my aged brass faucets very well. If you're looking for a large soap dispenser this wouldn't be a good choice, but it's perfect in it's place on the corner of my pedestal sink. I would definitely purchase it again if I needed another soap dispenser.
