These hydro minnows are a must have if you fish the surf in the north east for striped bass, in Florida for Snook or in Los Cabos for Roosterfish or big Jacks. It cast’s very far, easy to work, quality hardware. They swim very shallow when retrieved in the surf and track well even with current or some turbulence. You have to retreive it a bit fast to get good action since the bill is so small. Wacky Mackerel is a cool color but all of them will work. Buy the cheapest color! This is the 150mm but the 170mm is also very good. 4 stats because the hooks seem to dull a little fast but I guess that is expected when fishing beaches and scraping sand..
