Great little Ninja accessory!
Small but mighty! Our 16 year old Cuisinart coffee grinder finally died, so I was on the search for a new one. Didn’t want to spend a ton of money (especially given how many bad reviews every newer grinder seems to get these days), so after finding this attachment, I decided to give it a try. Soooo glad I found this thing! I love that I can just put it into my Ninja Base (I have the SS101: Ninja Foodi Smoothie Bowl Maker and Nutrient Extractor 1200WP 4 Auto-iQ) and press “start” and it does all the work for me. (My previous grinder required me to hold down a button the whole time). I tried it immediately, and found that it ground the beans pretty evenly, and washing the attachment/lid was quick and easy. While I wish I could grind more at a time, I don’t mind having to throw in an extra cup of beans in order to make up the difference. (Being hands-free makes all the difference!) If you have a Ninja base and you’re looking for a grinder, I definitely recommend this one! Just make sure your model is compatible first!

Great Ninja Accessory
Great addition to my Ninja Blender. No need for me to have separate coffee grinder. Especially if you have a small kitchen, you look for ways to save space and get the most out of the appliances you have.

Does not work on our Ninja Nutri-Blender Pro with Auto IQ, 1000 Watts, Personal Blender, BN400
For starters, the listing doesn't say what it's supposed to attach to. But after buying and realizing it wasn't just able to run on its own, I was happy to find that it attached to the Ninja IQ blender we already had. But when I went to attach and check it out, it popped out of place, and my blender started to smell hot. So, I waited a couple days and debated on returning thinking maybe I'd try again, that I didn't do it right. I tried again, and this time I had it in there better but my blender started smoking. I shut off right away and couldn't get this thing returned fast enough! My blender is fine, I thankfully didn't ruin it because I use it all the time. I typically love all Ninja products, we have several, and will continue to stick with Ninja, but this one is a no go for us.

Ecstatic to find this!
The media could not be loaded. I needed a spice grinder but didn't want yet another appliance. This accessory fits on our Ninja base. I don't need fresh spices just yet, so I tested the unit with coffee. It holds the perfect amount at 12 TBSP. But the BEST part is the contact between the stainless inner cup and the outer clear overcap. No grinds fly out (a problem plaguing other brands)! And you can clearly see the grind through the top as it grinds. For 12 TBSP of coffee beans it took 5 seconds on plus about 3 pulses to get a drip grind. And frankly, the grind is more homogeneous than my 5 year old stand-by Bodum Bistro grinder. A quick wipe, run under hot water and towel dry is all that's needed to clean. I'm very happy and can't wait until I need to grind my spices.

A very useful addition to an already great product.
I've got a Ninja Foodi blender and food processor combo, and this helps fill a niche that lets me finally use it for everything. It wasn't the best at finely grinding coffee and spices conveniently, but having a small stainless steel bowl that collects everything and stops it from going everywhere fixes all my issues with it. The price being $25 is a bit much, since you can literally buy a standalone food processor for that much, but it was still worth it to me to be able to use my Ninja for everything and fully replace my existing food processor.

great for dry spices!
I've only used this grinder for spices, not coffee. Paired with the power of Ninja Foodie I think this is the best spice grinder I have ever used (I think I've had about 3 others). I can confirm that it does in fact work with the SS401 even though the model is not listed in the description. I set it on smoothy, or extract if you want it very fine, I think extract over does it. For example: I bought a package of Leggs Italian Sausage spice mix, and the the spice mix (as I expected) had whole fennel seeds mixed in, that's not for me and my sausage! So I plugged this grinder into my Foodie, set to smoothy, fine powered spices, problem solved!I did just out of curiosity try to do fresh garlic, I would not recommend it, it's clearly advertised as a spice/coffee grinder but I had to try it. I wish Ninja would make a smaller, lower profile cup for the Foodie, like this size to do veggies and spice pastes. I find the smoothy tall cup is too hard to scoop out spice pastes, and ends up just splattering everything along the wall of cup without thoroughly mixing, (knowing Ninja, its possible that they do make a smaller veg chopper for the Foodie, I'll have to check). And I LOVE my Foodie but that's for another review!

Works great not for superfine grind though
Works great but if you're looking for superfine grind for espresso this is not for you. Works great and attaches right onto my blender, doesn't grind superfine like I wanted but still a cool attachment for the Ninja to have. Works great if you only need regular ground coffee. The blades aren't sharp and dull on the edges, if they were sharp it would have worked how I needed it to.

Its a Ninja what's not to like
I recently got my hands on a Costco Ninja blender smoothie combination and was on the lookout for some cool accessories to make our blender even more versatile. That’s when I stumbled upon this awesome coffee grinder. I used to have a Braun coffee spice grinder, and it was a reliable tool, but it was a bit of a hassle to clean. Then, I found the XSKGrinder, and my morning coffee game has been totally leveled up! It’s super compact, easy to clean, and can grind your coffee in just 20 seconds on pulse. Plus, it’s a steal for the price. I highly recommend it!
