It soaks less oil so you are able to lit up the candle for a longer time with the lesser quantity of oil.
These wicks can also be used as decorative floating candles and aroma candles, if lighted on aromatic/scented oil. It Floats on oil. So, it can be lighted up on even small quantity of oil poured on water filled glass bowl/Jar.
Instructions for using : The wick must be floating on the oil and the silver side of the wick must be facing up. Basically the wick absorbs the oil and burns. It lasts 8-10 hours at least depending upon the qty. of oil.
