Q: How long is the chain?

The hanging length of the chain is 49".

Q: My window is 46w and somehow i ended up with 48w. is this something that i can cut to size?

Yes. On end without chain, roll blind up completely mark and cut 2 inches off tube, blind and end of bottom of blind be careful to cut square. You now have a 46" blind. By the way, use hack saw with fine tooth blade for best results.

Q: My inside window opening 35.5 (thirty-five and a half) inches. what size should i order? if i order 36 inches can i trim to fit?

That would be messy. Better to get 35” and use 1/4” block of wood on each side. I wound up using 1/8” on one side for one of my windows.
