You have to force or wiggle to make it fit. Not like the original.

My cordless Dyson was having a difficult time. I manually cleaned the conical filters and saw some improvement, but apparently I am not a good filter cleaner. When I replaced the old ones with new conical filters, the machine was like new. I am very happy with this product!
