Q: what does wrap mean. Is it separate from the tervis tumbler?

No the "wrap" is the design of the tumbler. In this case the Japanese Cherry Blossom, which is very pretty. I have several Tervis tumblers and have had no problems with them.

Q: What straws fit the 16 oz?

Ive used everything from fast food straws to plastic soda straw and paper straws from the grocery store. I've not tried metal straws so I can't answer to that kind. I don't recommend smoothie straws because they are a very tight fit.

Q: How long does it keep hot drinks hot for? “A very long time” isn’t a helpful time scale. Could I make my tea at 7am and it still be hot at 2?

I love this cup but if you want something that keeps your drink hot for hours, you should consider a Yeti. Within an hour of pouring my coffee, it is only warm still which is fine as I drink the whole cup on my commute to the office. If you're wanting your drink to stay HOT or ice not to melt overnight, YETI it should be.

It’s plastic and dishwasher safe. I absolutely love it. I have 2nd one as backup and ordered one for my best friend as a gift.
