Q: Are these large enough to fit around my head to act like a headband?

It depends on how large your head is but they do my 16 year old daughters.

Q: Do these snap/break easily?

No they don’t. 1 scrunchie Can last me like 3-4 months. They’re worth it if you have long thick hair.

Q: Do these fit around a head so that i could prop it in my hair so it doesnt lay flat

I don’t think so. Buy elastic and fit it to the size you need.
