Bought as birthday party giveaways, love it as it is such good value and so much better than giving useless little bits. There are books for different levels in it.

Great stories for children with English as a second language
I am teaching English to a 12 year old Ukrainian boy who is really struggling with the English language. I have had great difficulty finding suitable reading books to encourage his English language reading and speaking skills. At last I have found Usborne My Animal Stories Reading Library 30 Books Collection Box Set which I think my Ukrainian student will absolutely love as he loves anything to do with animals. I look forward to starting his journey improving his English language with the help of these story books. All the stories use easy text so that he can spend many happy hours reading and talking about these books.

Gets progressively harder
I didn't realise at the time of purchase but I think this is absolutely brilliant. Bought just for little stories to read to my one year old, but upon inspection I realise that the books are colour coded for a reason. Yellow = easy , few words per page, few pages. Red = hard, lots of words per page, lots of pages. From yellow through to get the books get a little thicker and a little more words in them as they go. They even have little puzzles in the back of the books which j think is a nice added bonus. If I manage to keep them in good condition then these will be perfect for when the time comes for my son learning to read himself.
