Q: Why is this such an outrageous price when you can buy at Harriet Carter for $9.98?

Can get it where l am. It's easy to order on line and not drive around looking for it. Stock up my friend.

Q: does this clean brass?

I don't know. Never tried it on that. It's for acrylic and fiberglass tubs and showers which are stained and disgusting looking, stained brown, and nothing in regular cleaners fixed. Spray or wipe on and leave overnight. Rinses right off. And in my case, tub looked like new. We had rust in the water tanks, and everything was a mess, dishwasher, sinks, toilets. This is the only thing that worked. It is not one of those sprays you use every day, but once every 6 months or so. I can only speak for my experience. Expensive but works.

Q: Mixing instructions for consentrate??

The instructions say mix a 1-to-1 ratio with water. That's what I use on my 500-600 sq. ft. floor area which has white grout. I've tested a whole lot of grout cleaners over the years (and I do mean A LOT!), none even come close to Zap. I don't like the smell, which lingers for a time afterward, but my wife doesn't mind it so much as I do.

Q: Is this safe on roof shingles?

It depends on what kind of roof shingles you have. It may work on clay but not asphalt. I would dilute it 3 to 1 and try it in a small area that isnt visual first.
