KwikTool USA BBS450 Bad Blade System with Patented Guard and C7 4.5-Inch Bad Blade for almost any 4.5-Inch angle grinder

My original BBS450 arrived damaged so I returned it to amazon for a refund. In the meantime I contacted KwikTool and they have bent over backwards to help me.The BBS450 wouldn't work on my "old" Makita model 9505B (I've had it for over 30 years). KwikTool made every effort to get me up and running and I ended up with thier Hurricane kit(HK450).I was glad and surprised to see a company take the words "service and reputation" seriously in this day and age.The "Bad Blade System" is really a great idea. I saw it when I needed to replace some damaged flooring in my older mobile home and could see that this would work right up next to the wall to cut the old flooring out.Kudos to KwikTool for an inventive and great tool and a support staff that actually tries to help you, thats rare now-a-days.

dos not fit mostI have three of the more popular brands of grinders and the housing fit none.i bought this to cut pallets with nails and the blade does not last long at alli had much better results with a demo blade on a recip.

Blade can not handle vibration can't use just your hands to hold what your cutting.

Who would of thought? That I could use my angle grinder to cut through deck boards with nails in them and then get underneath and cut the metal joist hangers and the joists all in one motoin with one tool..... my own angle grinder. Yep you heard correct I used this thing will cut metals, woods,fiberglass,and multiple layers of stuff with this one blade its amazing but equally efficent and fast. Once mounted (unit goes over your factroy angle grinder guard and is tricky to mount first time but did it on second try). I was able to blast thru wood with ease and absoulty no kick back in fact I tried to make the blade do it and still nothing. The cuts are smooth and have used it for laminate flooring. I bought the 6 pc kit with carver blade and use it for my log furniture making and it is so fast and clean it needed almost no sanding after. So much safer and faster than my old lancelot carver made from a chain saw blade. One thing to remember is these are carbide blades and we all know that carbide is brittle, I found out the hard way that if my work wasnt clamped or secured when cutting metal it stared to vibrate and I knocked off some teeth. Good instructions and pictures for assembly. Will post some pictues of the stuff I cut and made.

The blade guard actually melted on the tool and blade while I was cutting with it. I would not waste your money with this product. It needs major redesign work. Its all plastic.

This guard does not work very well and the nut kept backing off the grinder. The blades cut great but the guard is junk.
