3M Bandage Compression Coban 2 Layer System Medical 2094

This was for my lower leg. The last time I had damage I didn't know about this wrap. I was in wound treatment for six weeks (and the treatment nurse introduced me to Coban 2 layer). This time I used the Coban on the second day (when it arrived), and as a result I was fully healed in less than three weeks.It's relatively easy to put on, even putting it on yourself (and I am not the most coordinated person around). I cleaned the area using gauze and some sterile saline solution I already had, then wrapped (counter-clockwise) with the mesh padding. Then I wrapped over this (clockwise) with the compression bands, covering more than the area already covered by the pad. It all held together, it didn't fall off or loosen (I replaced it every 2-3 days), and it didn't stick to my wound. This is so much better than a large band-aid!

Very good for wounds

Product is used to help the stubborn healing of a post operative wound. Wraps are definitely doing the job.

Will use in between wound care visits to the clinic.

A few years ago, while my mom was in the ICU, one of her nurses applied this two layer combination to my mom’s legs. She has lymhedema and had seen several doctors through the years, not a single one suggesting this solution. She had had an “una boot”, which was far more difficult to deal with and required frequent follow up appointments. So, four years after that trip to the ICU, we still use this coban system and it has kept her mobile. It greatly decreases the swelling, and it provides the stability she needs to walk. Of course, check with your doctor first. But, like I said, this was introduced to us by a very attentive and proactive nurse. And I’m very thankful for her.

Very satisfied with this product. It works well although I can’t get it cheaper on eBay. But I would rather buy it through y’all on Amazon. Been satisfied with yawls merchandise so far.
