This supplement contains vitamin C and beta glucan, ideal for supporting the body during cold and 'flu season.I take vitamin C daily, without being tied to any one brand, but I'd never heard of beta glucan before. On reading up it is a variously beneficial naturally-occurring fibre that may improve the body's immune system. The particular source for these capsules is oat, that is specifically claimed elsewhere to improve heart health and lower cholesterol. At 200mg the beta glucan dosage here is above the lower recommended daily limit (100mg) and significantly below the upper recommended daily limit (500mg), so I'm happy to be trying these out safely. The vitamin C levels are relatively low, but the 'prolonged' benefit is reassuring.Around a month into using these and while I can't pinpoint any definite health improvements I have continued to be active and energetic.It's great that they're vegan, and the capsules are very easy to swallow.

Anyways, just for a safety precaution, do not exceed the recommended dose to prevent any problems occurring.I haven’t heard of Beta Glucans before until I got this product and upon researching it, basically, it is a fibre that also supports our immune system. I have been taking these capsules for about a week and it is very easy to swallow and has no aftertaste at all. However, I haven’t noticed any visible effects on me so far which is understandable.Overall, this supplement is reasonably priced for the quantity provided and is promising.

These capsules are just second to none.In the days of the 'rona, taking Vitamin C is important, and this is a brilliant way to take it.The prolonged release means you'll be getting a steady stream of it long after you took the capsule; this will aid in physical recovery from exercise; it will aid in things like wound healing, it will lessen fatigue, and it will help build your immune system.£29.49 (at the time of writing) sounds like a lot for something as ubiquitous as Vitamin C, but this is the highest quality Vit C you can get; it will release over a longer period of time, and you only take one capsule a day, so it will last 6 months, which evens out to about £5 a month, which is phenomenal value for such a high quality supplement.

I use Vitamin C only occasionally for avoiding/fighting off colds. I’d never heard of Beta Glucan before, but I gather it refers to the natural ingredients. The formula is vegan-friendly, though so are most cheap packs of Vitamin C; I’m not sure about “prolonged (action) Vitamin C”, but I assume it’s supposed to be slow release.£30 for 180 Vitamin C capsules seemed expensive to me, but it compares well with other Beta Glucan Vitamin C packs, and capsules tend to cost more than tablets. The dosage of 200mg is supposed to be enough for once a day, though as usual for supplements different packs have widely varying recommendations. The capsules are easy to swallow, which will appeal to those who don’t like tablets (I actually like the citrus taste of Vitamin C tablets).

Beta Glucan supplements are immunomodulators which trigger a cascade of events that help regulate immune system function, helping it work more efficiently.I've been taking 1 Capsule a Day since they arrived, they are easy to swallow.Hopefully I will feel the benefits of taking them soon as it's still early days..... So I may be back to update this review with a result.You get a 6 month supply.Can reccomend, expensive but if they work I think it's worth it!
