GILL Unisex Technical UV Baseball Cap

This is a great cap that provides good protection, is easily adjusted, looks good, and comes with clip tether to keep it on your head. Most of the time. My last one went overboard during a race when the boom caught the elevated brim (my fault) and the clip slid off my slick racing t-shirt. Took my sunglasses and croaky with it. Still a great hat if you keep your head down when jibing and make certain the clip is well attached to your clothing -- That is why I bought a replacement!

Well-made, lightweight, and super comfortable. I like the lightweight because so many branded hats these days are heavy, huge, and/or uncomfortable. The clip on this hat is a nice feature if you are in a windy area, but it can also be retracted and just up at the back of the hat so it's not hanging down making you turn around every so often to see who keeps tapping you on the neck.... I can't attest to the UV powers, but since I wear it outside a lot and I am follicley-challenged, I haven't had any sunburn issues. I'm actually buying another one to have a spare.

This is my third Gill Technical UV Cap. One lost overboard in a gale (too strong for the retainer clip!) and the second is just getting very worn and sun-damaged after several years here in the Caribbean. The cut and adjustment strap works well for me and I have a very large head. A great sailing hat, very highly recommended!

Terrific sailing hat! Long visor and low profile is exactly what I wanted. It fits over my large wayfarer sunglasses to give me a clear view of the water. I have a bigger than average skull and it fits well. The elastic expandable band on the back of the hat makes it an easy fit. It is very well made, sturdy and it looks and feels great.The tether cord and clip is nice for high wind days. Good value for the price.

Love the hat but I couldn’t find anyone who could tighten it. It’s the worst set up in the back. Not even sailors

Perfect fit and sharp looks compared to a typical baseball bap. There is a clever means to adjust the headband (hint: adjust from inside the cap!). Handy safety lanyard to attach to your collar - won't do you any good if your shirtless. The quick dry material is superior compared to cotton caps.
