How wonderful our subtle physical make-up really is
Still reading it. It is everything I expected!! I'm still curious as to how many types of intelligence people have and how to access them. I learned a long time ago that we all have 12 types of intelligence. Isn't this just sooo curious?? Am fascinated that Daniel Coleman gained his insights from reading Howard Gardners book on Frames of Mind. Emotional Intelligence is important and can be used for the benefit of the self and others. How wonderful our subtle physical make-up really is!

I have found this book a bit technical. I was looking for some short of 'dummies' guide: a few basic concepts with examples, etc.More than i expected, but really interesting.

Five Stars
The second book by Howard Gardner that I've read. It's more in-depth, but not a difficult read.

Three Stars
An slightly over-hyped book perhaps, but interesting

I'm not sure whether it's boring or uninteresting or both.
I took a punt on this book as I'm really interested in how the mind works and how we think and also I'm trying to make myself into an evil super genius. This is what I've found after 80/400ish pages :1. It's written in a very unreadable and uninteresting way2. I'm not at all motivated to finish it3. I haven't really learned much about these "frames of mind"I might try and force myself through this just because I've spent the money now, but I think my time might be better spent getting into something more readable or meditating or polishing my cutlery. Maybe he comes across more interestingly on YouTube...
