The lid fits securely but the slider can easily open when handling the tumbler especially if you knock it over. That results is spilling a fair amount of the contents. The slider needs to have more friction or a click stop when it is closed. I also find that it is much easier to drink out of the tumbler using this lid if one uses a straw.

drips a little bit if left on its side or upside down. But then again it isnt mean't to be a seal its a lid for sipping. If you're in a car sitting at a desk walking around drinking coffee or anything out of this lid it will hold up fine.

I bought this for my Yeti mug so I can put it in the side of my backpack without worrying about my drink spilling with the regular Yeti lid and it has served its purpose! Some fluid leaks out if I'm moving a lot but I've never had a big spill. I would recommend washing it as soon as you're finished with your drink (especially sugary drinks like cappuccino or hot chocolate) or you will have trouble opening and closing it & it may leave residue in the crevices. However I would recommend this product.

Fits 20 ounce well, but the slider part leaks, won't be using it. Change this to 4 stars, owners reached out and explain the product and I thank them for that.

It worked well for the first few days, I thought.I was looking for a lid that I can put my Yeti in my purse and when I did that (making sure the lid was closed), it not only spilled/ruined my purse but everything in it!!

These work fine...for a while. Then the slider wears and becomes loose. Then every time you tip your tumbler to take a sip, the slider falls closed. You have to hold it open. Bought several of these and they all did the same thing. Nothing matches the Yeti brand closing lid. Yes they cost a lot more but after months of use still working fine and looking new whereas this brand is worn, looks it and going in the trash.

I don't know why the companies that make mugs don't include these tops. They keep beverages cold/hot longer. They keep dirt and bugs out of your drink and they make the mug spill proof. Fit several brands perfectly.
