It's ok.
This is the second Levon's baby monitor we have purchased. The first one wasn't able to add a second video and with another baby coming, I wanted to have one monitor to see not of my kids. this monitor is just ok. I don't really like that you have to switch it over yourself to see the other room. I for some reason thought it would switchover on its own when the other kid started crying. Ok, well it wasn't thAt big of a deal so we just kept it. Then the charging port rated acting up. The monitor would just shut off at night, no beeping to tell me the battery was dying. For some reason it beeped while dying during the day, but when it was at night... it would just shut off. I am not a deep sleeper so it's not likely that I'd sleep through it. Well, it still does this and just this past week it won't charge at all. It's barely been a year and I've had problems wit this monitor the whole time. It just keeps getting worse.

Would not recommend. Does not charge properly.
The monitor stopped charging after a couple months. I’m not sure if it’s the charger or the actual monitor. The port on the monitor is loose and you have to position the charger just right in order for it to charge. The antenna also broke after just one month. I contacted the company and they stated it wasn’t included in their warranty. In short, I would not recommend this product at all.

Excellent baby monitor for the money
Excellent baby monitor for the money.Construction is great. Comes with usb supply for both the monitor and the camera.Temp. sensor is quite accurate. I have a separate temp gauge in the baby room that I calibrated, and the temp reading off of the camera is often identical or sometimes off by a single degree.MonitorAntenna is a good addition to the monitor, without adding the bulk to the body.Frame rate is less than adequate for what modern screens are capable of. What it means is that motion looks jagged, or choppy, to best explain it. It has to have to do something with the amount of data the camera is sending to the monitor. It definitely could use some upgrade on this end.Especially in the night view, the frame rate drops quite considerably. However, it serves its purpose: the monitor detects when there is a movement, and it's visible.Just something to be aware of if you are a buyer expecting a phone video quality. Baby monitors are not built for that purpose. If recording/ smooth video is your thing, I'd recommend to go with wifi based units.Sound sensor works well, I haven't figured out what decibel each dot represents, but there is basically two green dots followed by two red dots.If the sound surrounding the camera is loud enough to get to red dot level, the monitor can be configured to turn the screen on.Talk function: works as described.Ability to add up to four cameras is a plus, but I do not have a need to utilize this function at the time.

Cannot automatically toggle between cameras
I bought this monitor because you could connect up to 4 cameras. I have two boys ( 4 & 2 years old) and am expecting our third shortly. Our old monitor, a motorola, only fit two cameras. Anyway, I gave this 2 stars because the screen size was great but that's about it. I hooked it up for one night and then packaged it up for return. There is no feature that allows you to switch between cameras automatically. Whenever you want to look at a different room/camera, you have to manually go into the menu, select the icon, and pick the camera you want to view. This is VERY impractical for sleeping. Our old monitor I would set it at night to switch between rooms so whatever kid woke up I would know...this system does not do that. Also, you can't split the screen between multiple cameras. There is also no lights to indicate noise levels. So you really can't ever turn the volume off because you would never know if someone was crying! If you have multiple young kids that need monitoring at night, I would not get this system. I ended up paying more for another motorola system.

Horrible!!
I got this and Was very dissatisfied with it when my baby would nap as it was afternoon and it would just show really dark. I kept it and tried to like it. Well now it’s barely over a year old and it’s trash. First I thought it was the battery. So I contacted levana and they were going to send me a battery. Well we realized my monitor was the issue as it won’t charge and half the time it would turn off even with the battery out so the port was bad. Well now the company won’t do anything. Told me to look on eBay or amazon. After doing so I found a lot of monitors with the same issue as mine. Now I have to go buy a new one. It won’t be the same brand for sure!Don’t brother buying from this company.

Love it.
Love it... the price is amazing compared to other monitors... it's amazing at night, night vision is clear and it's sensitive that I can hear everything even her breathing. During the day the image is crisp and clear... love that I can talk to my baby as well... overall excellent monitor!!!

Absolutely horrible night vision
Absolutely horrible night vision. The display is horribly pixelated and the night vision has a lot of lag. We've used many different brands including motorola and summer infant and this has by far the worst display quality of them all. At night when you turn on the display to check in on your kid you get a washed out image where you can't distinguish anything. It takes about 5 seconds before it clarifies into a very pixelated and grainy image where it is still difficult to distinguish what is going on. The lens also has a very narrow field of view. For us to get the whole crib in the image we had to mount the unit on the ceiling which made the temperature sensor totally useless because the room temperature at the ceiling is way different than where the child is sleeping. We ended up returning this unit for the Summer Infant Panorama which is superior in every way possible.

Our Infant Optics DXR-8 gave out after 2 years of use, I honestly registered for it because it was reviewed as "the best" and received it as a shower gift without much research. For 1/2 the price this monitor is just as good picture quality and the screen is significantly larger (maybe 2 - 3 inches). As a mom of a 2.5 year old vs. a new mom, this monitor gives me everything I need it to be - easy to use, a rotating camera, and a very large screen of my baby.

good but having difficulty charging
We really like this monitor - the picture quality is good enough and it has bars to show sound decibels. We also really like the temperature reading which was lacking in our nest cam. Additionally it does not use wifi which we like from a cost perspective and a safety perspective.I do seem to be having problems with charging the unit. This is the second one we have purchased (because we like it so much) but because the first one we bought does not charge anymore, we can't figure out why. This unit that we just purchased 6 months ago, has stopped charging because the pins are bent (see photo). I don't really know what to do from this point on?

Good video, Horrible Sound.
The video quality is decent enough on this monitor. But I'm slashing two stars for the following reasons:-1 Star: The reception isn't all that great. I'll be in a room 2 doors down, and the signal will cut out. It lags at times and isn't 100% reliable. Even with the antenna up, we still lose signal 10ft away at times. Weird...-1 Star (and it could have been more): The sound. Honestly, this is horrible on this monitor. We have a Angelcare audio monitor, and at a fraction of the price, has waaaaaaaaaaaay better sound quality. The Levana crackles constantly, and static is heard whenever the monitor is off mute. The Angelcare came with a dial to change the sensitivity of the microphone, and this monitor... Nothing. Now I know that this is a video monitor and I'm comparing it to an audio one, but at the price, surely this should be a feature? Minus one star for horrible sound is the least I can do.So now onto why it gets the 3 Stars:+1 Star: It's a video monitor that has decent video, and the LED Night Vision isn't all that bad. You need to have it well directed, but still nice to have.+1 Star: The talk-back feature is neat. Its very sensitive, but it definitely helps that you don't have to go into the room to talk to your little one.+1 Star: The battery life is good. We have it plugged in on charge overnight, and then when our little one naps in the afternoon, unplug it and leave it on for the remainder of the day. it'll go the 10 hours without sweating. 12 hours is possible, and we've only encountered the low battery beep once, and it does a great job at this to remind you that it needs a charge.

Love the monitor
Love the monitor. Long battery life and great display and sound. The camera was a little tricky to mount on the wall. The base to the camera should be detachable so you can properly mount on the wall before putting the camera on. Mount is flimsy and could be made better. We ended up having to use the scotch wall strips to mount it. We tried mounting the camera with screws on the camera and it would look like it was in the right place and once it was mounted it wouldn't be. Very frustrating! Otherwise we are happy with the product.

Great signal strength
We live in a 4 story Victorian house with lots of walls and our wifi isn't always reliable. My main concern was finding a monitor that would get a signal in every room and our backyard and this one does just that. It has a very strong signal even when I'm the furthest possible distance from the baby's room. The screen is clear and the night vision is good. Does everything I need it to do.

Big LCD screen and long battery life
Purchased this monitor for our nursery. The night vision is black and white and gives enough light to view your LO when they are asleep or even when they are just playing in the crib. I love temperature indicator, it gives me an indication how warm or cold the room is. It also has a timer, sleep mode and you can link up up to 3-4 other cameras. The battery life is good for 72 hrs.

Terrible....
This monitor was ok during the day when the room was bright. But at night I couldn't see anything as the night vision was crap......which is 99% of the times that I need it.Total waste of money. Returned it and got a Summer monitor.

Frustrated.
Very dissatisfied with this product. Not only do you have to love be monitor manually, but there is not silence button. Even when you put it in “sleep” mode, there is always sound when it is turned on.Also, we used it for 2 weeks and the plug no longer works. The plug for the cord to the monitor is very cheaply made.Purchased on February 16 but didn’t begin using until the end of March and it only worked for 2 weeks. I’m not getting the option to return.3rd item in two months purchased on Amazon Prime that stopped working - all done with big purchases on this website.

So far we love it! The night/day vision does have trouble adjusting sometimes but it eventually does. The screen is huge and the quality is decent. This is our second Levana monitor, we only replaced the last one because my daughter ripped the antenna off. For the price this is a great monitor! Reception is fantastic and the battery has a long life!

Poor reception in multiple locations
Im really disappointed with how poor the quality of reception the monitor gets. There are times where I am barely 10 meters from room and it says it has lost it's signal. Ive tried it in multiple different locations in different homes and on vacation, and I am really disappointed.

Don't waste your money on this
This monitor is awful. Since we started using it (6 months ago) it has constantly been dropping the signal. Now, the monitor doesn't hold a battery charge at all, it has to be plugged in to work. The second it is unplugged it dies. Don't waste your money on this.

Poor signal
I only had this monitor for 9 months. The battery life is ok, usually have to charge every day. The night vision is alright, I can see our little one but it’s not that clear. What frustrates us the most is that the signal is poor. The signal was great the first few months, afterwards the signal constantly drops every few seconds.

Great battery life and daytime camera
Great battery life and daytime camera. The night mode is a bit blurry but works really well. I was looking for a monitor that had temperature, a large screen, good battery life (and a usb plug is a bonus), with the ability to add cameras. I am satisfied with everything and would recommend this product.

Great quality for a good price!
This monitor is easy to use, has zero interference, no static, and a great sized screen which is clear and easy to see baby. Battery life has been great as well as I only have to charge every couple of days. I love that I can add on with another camera later if I need it.

The night vision is very poor and I personally find that is the most important feature you need in a monitor. Also when it was brighter, but still dim in the room, the camera would not adjust accordingly and I could not see anything. I liked the Peep Mode option but there are better, higher quality monitors available at the same price point.

Doesn’t charge
Stopped charging completely after 8 months of use. A ton of reviews on Amazon.com mention the same thing. Don’t be like me and not read the reviews. This is a common issue with these and I will not be buying another levana product. Garbage.
