If you going somewhere and you want to make a statement or be remembered…use any one of there fragrances… fracas is my fav but they all smell AMAZING.Bottles weren’t full though but it’s all good

This is an impressive sampler!I was at first put off by the price by the ounce ($140/ounce!) for this sampler, but after trying each scent it's really worth it if you're giving this is a gift. It's a nice assortment in a nice little package, and it's a delight to try each one!The spray bottles atomize the fragrances well, and one quick puff is more than enough to last hours using very little fluid.The scents are absolutely heavenly!! Many of these are more exotic fragrances that you might wear for special occasions or a very special date, making them last even longer.I especially like "Fracas", which has a musky lilac/jasmine scent. Great for a "night out". This is definitely a scent I'd want people to remember me by!My next choice would be "Notes", which is also a floral scent, but is a bit warmer like orange blossom. More of a daytime fragrance. Either "Fracas" or "Notes" could be casual fragrances if you have the budget for it.My other "go to" would be "V", which has kind of an oriental and cinnamon flare to it. This would be good for bright, cheerful events. I'd be inclined to save this for more special occasions.The last 2 fragrances, "Oud Délice" and "Casbah" are definitely both a little too formal for daily wear, and I'd likely save these for formal events. They both have a more exotic, "peppery" scent that suggest maturity and status. Casbah is especially pungent with a hint of tobacco leaves, while Oud Délice is a sweeter scent with a hint of patchouli.I'll enjoy wearing these fragrances very much, and will likely order more "Fracas" as I expect to wear that one out in no time!!! They are much more affordable if purchased separately and in volume, more in the neighborhood of $30-$60/ounce.

I am a perfume junkie, I freely admit. I ordered this expensive set thinking I was getting samples of really nice perfumes, but that was not the case. The tiny samples are difficult to use, and one of them I have yet to get to spray. The fragrance doesn't last as long as the department store samples do, and there are a couple that smell so strange I had to wash them off immediately. Amazon says no return, so my advice is--don't waste your money.

well the packaging and delivery and everything was great, but I have worn two of these fragrances for at least 30 years and I know what they're supposed to smell like. and these didn't even come close. I was greatly disappointed. The good news is they gave me my money back.

Give the ribbon a little pull and a drawer of fragrance will be produced.Though sample sized, each vial is large and delivers several days worth of fragrance (since only the small amount is require to attain the fullest effect.All of these fragrances are very complex. Each is fairly heavy and somewhat indicated for evening use. Now, each one will seem "cloying" or "too heavy" upon initial use. This is common with more complicated perfumes. So, give each of these a lengthy dry-down period. You will enjoy noting how each changes over time, becoming more distinct and powdery.Fracas: heavier, dark, warm, great for eveningV de Piguet: a little heavy, very warm, more powdery, great for evening.Oud Delice: lighter than the others, warm, mostly for evening.Casbah: a little heavy, mostly for evening use.Notes: dries down to the most subtle of a very bold collection. Mostly for evening.While these fragrances are not "bright," "green," "refreshing," or "joyous," they are distinctly "sophisticated," "layered," "sensual," and "deep." A nice collection for those who enjoy heavier, darker, warm fragrances!

The full size of just one of these scents costs easily twice as this little sampler set. You get a nice selection of RP's top sellers beautifully packaged in a little L'Expérience set.Keep in mind that these are not your cheap fruity musk all-smell-the-same made by some vapid celebrity scents you'll find selling at most fragrance counters, these actually have the real notes of the ingredients described, and in very concentrated amounts. They are a very high-quality brand of fragrance. A little goes a long way and to take a tip from my great grandmother, you should always lightly dab with a warm, slightly damp cloth after applying to soften the smell. Fragrances smell the best after they've been on the wearer a while, and these are no exception. You can wear them for daytime use but soften them a little if you will be around others and you'll love them a lot more.My favorite is V, Fracas, and Notes, but I felt Notes has waaaay too much vetiver that overpowers the other notes. V isn't quite as fruity/cinnamon-ey as I had hoped, the sandalwood and ylang-ylang are what you smell the most. Fracas is a cleaner floral smell and I can see this being a daytime fragrance for the right person. Casbah smelled familiar to me but is very similar to other fragrances that are woody. No nutmeg smell at all to it, and that was a little disappointing.In this set you get Fracas, Casbah, V, Oud Délice, and Notes. Fragrances are different for everyone. I don't think I would wear all of these every day as they all do have too much musk/woody undertones to them, and I have a family member who is hypersensitive to fragrance. For special occasions or if you love perfume? Go for it. They are fun!
