This is a miniature version of other astrolabes we offer. It is intricately detailed, and both the arms and disc rotate. It makes a wonderful adornment for your self or as a gift. The word Astrolabe comes from Greek astron, meaning "star" and lambanien, "to take, to look for". It is considered the mathematical jewel of astronomy.
