On-Stage - Foam Windscreen (Black) (ASWS58-B)

It fit nice and tight on a Shure ms58.

As usual for OnStage, the item is made very well. It fits very nicely and easily on over the grill of the SM58. That said, the foam is not super thick, so it may not be apt for heavy wind. For plosive reduction or light wind, it's a great value. I prefer this thickness as it is unobtrusive.

I use one screen on each of my handheld recorders for wind protection over the xy mics, a Tascam DR-07 MKii and a Zoom H4essential. The screens fit with a little patience and care. Once in place they stay on solidly. I am not recording in strong winds, but can say the screens protect against noise from incidental movement and light air circulation, which would be very audible in the recording without screens.

(PURCHASED FOR USE WITH RAZOR SEIREN V3 MINI)I had bought this for my recently purchased razor seiren v3 mini microphone and it worked out better than expected. On my new mic, the mute button is on top of it so in order for it to be accessible, I did have to make some modifications to the windscreen (which I didn’t mind at all).I was more concerned with the fit if anything, however in the end it couldn’t have fit any better. The windscreen was nice and snug around my mic and am confident it won’t fall off anytime soon.I haven’t tested the audio enhancement of the screen yet but I am sure it will be better with it than without it.

i don't really need a windscreen as my plosives are almost nonexistent. i just wanted a RED one to use as a target so my voiceovers are more constant. plus i like the way it looks.so if you have a Shure MV7(+) it'll fit fine, but doesn't provide as much 'buffering' as the stock one that comes with it. if you're on camera streaming and you want to be a little different, get the color of your choice. red looks awesome, too bad i'm not on camera very often.

I had to cut it to fit over the chamber/diapham. Good quality foam tho
