A beautiful laptop with amazing performance and good battery life. Despite being part of Dell's mid-range inspiron series, it has a premium design so you don't really miss out on that experience.Checks almost all the essential boxes. Its compact form and light weightedness makes it suitable for outdoor use and travellers. Reviewing almost a month after purchase. It has got some negative reviews, but honestly I didn't face any of the reviewers mentioned problems. Although.. there were some pre-installed app realted issues but they were quickly resolved by Dell Tech Support. They(Dell) were quite prompt in helping the customer. One less star for small touchpad, also I wish the keyboard were black instead of silver, would have made it stand out. Overall a decent purchase.

Just recvd it today, it seems the product is okay, too early to comment but I hv noticed some of places paint quality is really poor. Not acceptable fr a brand new product.

The media could not be loaded.  This was the 2nd time I have got worst packing.Laptop was light weight.Display was cool actually.Keyboard looks like apple macbook pro keyboard.some finishings are there on the laptop. I don't think it was design. But it looks like some kind of design only.(any how I didn't return the laptop it looks nice actually.)Speaker 🔊 not actually loudBatterlife awesome for me it was stand by more than 7 hours.There was some wifi connectivity issue 1st one week. After windows update it was actually solved.

I'm not sure if this is an Amazon problem.But leaving this review here as there is a massive product defect in the Inspiron 14 7490. DO NOT BUY THIS SPECIFIC MODEL.Within 3 months, the hardware, fan belt and cooling has shut down and the engineer opened up the laptop which then has led to motherboard failure.And now Dell is saying that they have weird terms & conditions like they will take 60 days for a replacement, with a body/model of any laptop but specifications as current, and no extended warranty on the product.They are probably selling refurbished laptops at the price of new ones and duping people massively hence they have such absurd terms & conditions.AMAZON, please do complete verification from such mal behaviour and delist these models/ products for now.

Great laptop..No heating issues.... Processing speed is also good. Just ensure to update warranty period by contacting dell.

Product works smoothly, thanks to windows 10. BUT ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE PAINTJOB BY DELL. Paint is chipping off everywhere, without any moisture/damage (the laptop has been at the same spot for past 3 months, never gone out). Didnt expect such a poor build from Dell.
