No there isn't any ventilation in the bread box

Since the plastic box is only 1/4 inch thick....take 1/4 inch off the dimensions provided to find out what the inside dimensions are....IT's a great box . I use it to store 500 packets of Stevia. LOve thwe clear plastic lid so you can check when you need to re-order the contents.

Q: Could this be used outdoors to store grilling tools in?

You could. But it is not air tight and it is metal, so may rust. If you are just looking to keep all your grilling tools in one place, it might work for that. Note size, tools might not fit.
