Need more ginger taste

My daily ritual! Very simple to make. I like to use it to flavor my black tea but you can use with just hot water.

I first tried this tea on a flight in India and it tasted better than any instant tea I had tried before that. So when I got back home I decided to order some for use at home. Tea drinkers are a picky lot and each person likes their chai to be made just right for it to work. So by that measure this instant tea tastes great. It is especially good to serve guests some ginger tea in a jiffy. For my own taste though, this tea is too milky and a bit sweet. For it to taste just right, I brew a quarter cup of black tea and add it to the instant brew. That makes the tea a bit stronger a dilutes the sweetness a bit which makes the tea much more drinkable for me. The hassle of having to brew black tea separately makes this a lot less desirable for me on a regular basis, however it is a decent product. If you like your tea to be milky, the way darjeeling tea is had, you will like this mix. If you like strong Assam tea, you will find this too light. At almost $26 for 10 sachets, it is not cheap, so I won't be buying it again, but it was worth one try.

I have ordered this product several times. The unsweetened seemed somewhat tasteless to me, but the sweetened seemed to have just enough sweetness to make it delicious.

Package came ripped off. Taste of the tea not ginger at all but it tastes only sugar and cream. Not recommended to buy this because it is waste of money. It is better to try saffron and cardamom tea which is much much better than ginger tea.

Too much sugar for me… was promised a replacement with low sugar. Am waiting! Slow on delivery over 3 weeks!

A regular customer of this product! Always carry a few pouches, and a flask in my bag, only need hot water for a nice cuppa Desi 'adrak' (Ginger) chai! I have tried many other Ginger premixes on Amazon, this is the most well-balanced. Perfectly balanced ginger-essence and sugar. The biggest compliment I have received among my Indian friends: they couldn't believe it was a premix!!

I regularly order this item thru AMZN but this time the sachets are very small. Quantity is less for same price. Stay away from this seller.
