Q: How do you remove this toilet seat?

There are fixtures that need loosening at the back of the toilet, under the back where the end of the seat is. Unscrew with fingers until the plastic bolts come off and the seat will lift off

Q: How do i stop the seat sliding about?

The only reason I can see for the seat to slide about, is that the 2 nuts under the seat are not tightened correctly. Use a cloth the tighten, so that it does not hurt your fingers.
