Q: I see only one button for 3 temperatures but where is the speed control?

There is a cool shot "Button"....but, on the other side is a sliding bar that regulates speed and temperature depending on where you slide it.

Q: My wifes first time using it last night the cool button seemed stuck engaged. She got it working but is this a normal safety feature or umcommon?

The cool button is meant to stay depressed until released so that the user doesn't have to continuously hold it down. To release it, just press it again.

Q: What does this hair dryer weigh?

I’m not really sure, but it’s very light weight. Much lighter than any other blow dryer I’ve had.
