Q: It says tapered interior. Tapered from what diameter to what diameter?

I don't know the diameter, but the small was to small for my little finger. I had to get a medium sized one to fit my little finger. I don't have big hands either. I called Rock Slides and they were nice enough to take a medium and cut it to the length of the small. It fits my finger very well, this is by far the best slide I have ever had. The web site www.therockslide.com has the sizes listed. The small is listed as 7-9 ring size, but my finger is about a 7.5 and it was to tight. It is worth your time to look them up, if you play with your little finger they may be willing to cut one for you.

Q: How far down is this slide supposed to fit on pinky finger? Mine only fits past the top bend and not reaching the middle knuckle.

My preference is that it should not go over the knuckle so that you can still bend the pinky.

Q: What size is this slide? There is no size option that I can see.
