I'm currently using this for stripping the outer jacket of fibre optic aerial, and burial drop lines. It cuts the outer jacket away very easily which is probably not surprising becuase the blades in it are fresh. I'm sure somewhere down the line I will have to replace the cutting blades on it but for now it works like a dream.

What to say about a fiber jacket slitting tool? It just works. I use it for splitting the outer sheath of flat fiber before prep. I can't say it has ever let me down and it wasn't too expensive. If you need one of these in your daily, then you need one, so may as well buy this one!
