Q: is this good for a mattress and box spring?

I used mine in my mattress but am planning on buying another for my box spring. I wouldn't see why it wouldn't work. I put mine on a pillowtop mattress and it was still a little big.

Q: Is this cloth or plastic

It is cloth. I installed it myself by putting the mattress and box in the vertical position and slipping it on (one for each) like a big wedding dress! Everything went smoothly, and I haven't seen any bed bugs in my place for months. I had a couple mosquito bites from yesterday (saw them this morning), but these are different from bed bug bites (more itchy and no breakfast, lunch, and dinner).

Q: Does this fit the boxspring AND mattress at the same time? it's been a long day. :)

No... it only zippers and covers the mattress not the box spring
