Ok, so I actually did not buy this typically known car trimming to be used on a vehicle at all. We needed some sort of edging to put around the metal edges of our daughters new rabbit cage my husband built to keep the girls from getting cut on it. The rigid plastic pieces made for cages would not work as the metal was ribbed. Ordered this hoping that it would work, at least for a little while. Not only does it work PERFECTLY for this, but it really looks great on as well! Everyone has commented on how nicely finished the cages and bunny house look with the nice black trim. The girls are very proud of it, and I'm pretty impressed with my husband for thinking to use this! The price was great being much less than $1 a foot, it''s a 25 ft. section and we have a good bit of it left. Putting it on the ribbed metal wasn't easy at times, but it went on the flat sections quickly and easily.

Used this product on the edge of corrugated 1/32” galvanized steel. Had to heat it up with a heat shrink gun(low temp), worked fine. After installed I tapped it with a small hammer to seat it on the metal. Now I won’t get cut if I happen to brush against the edge.

LOST THE MOLDING AROUND THE WHEEL LEDGE WHICH LEFT A SHARP EDGE AND THE MOLDING FIT PERFECT ON THE ALUMINUM. LOOKS GREAT AND NOW LOOKS BETTER THAN FACTORY.

What a great product. Is great for covering the sharp edges on metal and other things. Easy installation . The fact that it comes in many sizes is a big help for using on many things.

Used this stuff for years.Nothing better to cover a sharp edge. the aluminum "spine" makes it hold its shape well and can be removed in areas needing a sharp turn.Looks great and very durable. A SMALL amount of Gorilla Glue makes it a more or less permanent installation.
