Q: My brand new product has a musty wet towel/valerian root stink to it. Is this normal?

The ingredients in our products are sourced from all-natural plant extracted botanicals, oils, clays, and thus the scents are natural. The Clear Skin Elixir tends to take on an earthy smell, in part from the Manuka Oil, which can be woodsy in scent. Also, there is Melaleuca (Tea Tree) oil, which works on the bacteria in the skin, thus it can almost smell a bit medicinal. Then, there is the French Pink Clay, which also has an earthy, mineral scent. So combined altogether, it is a unique natural scent. We recommend shaking before using and also tapping the bottom of the bottle before pumping. This closes any air pockets that can naturally occur due to clay being a part of the nutrient-dense formula. Enjoy how much it helps soothe and treat blemish-prone skin!

Q: Can this be used on chest and back

Yes, absolutely. It works well for both face and body breakouts. Just apply before bed and wear overnight to either face or body breakouts to help clear up skin.
