Best Crock Pot Ever!
Best Crock Pot ever! I replaced a previous Crock Pot that was starting to show wear on inside of the pot, and getting hard to clean, but it was several years old. I prefer cooking without the liners. This one is easy to clean and great to transport due to the locking lid. Also a great price!

Near Perfect
I got this as a Christmas gift for someone recently. They absolutely love it. I've tried some food out of it since then, and it cooks great. The handles are a nice addition, it seems sturdy and has a nice sleek finish, and it's really easy to use. It was able to cook and hold enough queso dip in it for 5 adults and one child. I'd definitely buy this for myself if I didn't already have a crockpot and needed one.

Great crockpot
Have only used once so far, but worked great. Was easy to transport, no worry about anything spilling as the lid locks in place very well.

Could not be happier with this --- and it's turned out to be quite the money saver too!
I want to say upfront that I am someone who resisted buying a crock pot for many years, as I associated it as an "old lady thing". I also never understood why I'd need one of these if I had an oven already. But, after getting this Crock Pot and using it a few months I doubt I will ever go back to not having one. It just makes my life so much easier...and food turns out better in the crock pot than it ever did in the oven. I now make a roast beef every Sunday (which I start on Saturday night, actually) and we have that through Tuesday, usually. I make the renderings and juices into a beef stew for the last day...and it's delicious. I actually cooked a Butterball turkey roast in this for Thanksgiving that was the perfect amount for two people. I now make turkey a few times a month for us...and that's something I never made in the oven because I was always scared of how it would turn out. Owning this crock pot has made me try all sorts of new things I never made before, which has added a lot to my life. I also think we don't waste any food as the crock pot seems to turn out meals that leave few scraps and leftovers. I think it helps me stretch our groceries budget that way (for example...we end up getting an extra meal of beef stew out of this that I'd never have if I made the roast in the oven...things like that). This crock pot is so easy to use: I cook on the low setting for 8.5 to 9 hours, depending on what I am making. It takes me about 5 minutes to put the meat and vegetables in and to set the timer and seal the lid. And then I don't even touch the thing until it is ready. It automatically stops cooking and sets itself to "warm" when it's done. I've left this on overnight and it's been on "warm" setting for up to five hours and the food was still perfect. Roast beef just falls apart with the fork. Turkey is so juicy and tender. Pulled pork turns out like a dream (I just put a pork shoulder in there and then pour BBQ sauce on top and it does the rest). I use this probably 3 times a week now...and have not put anything in the oven besides a pizza and some cinnamon rolls since I bought the crock pot. Also, an unexpected benefit of having this is that I have stopped spending money on fast food or sandwiches since there is now almost always something either in the fridge from the crock pot or cooking in the crock pot...so it's helped my family's budget in that regard since I'm becoming better at planning meals since the crock pot takes those 8 hours to cook. I tried the high setting once to make a bunch of chicken breasts in about 3.5 hours...and they were tender and juicy and were delicious. I have to experiment with more things on that high setting...but to be honest I am just so in love with making tender roast beef and turkey that I end up cooking those a lot. I have never been able to make roast beef this good before so I'm still kind of amazed by that.

OK, but not really a 'set it & forget it' crockpot & brand is not the same quality it once was...
I have had several crock pots over the years, from the original basic round version made by Rival without a removable insert back in the 1970's (very few of the later versions have been able to compare to that old workhorse -- wish I still had it!) to more deluxe programmable versions -- last one about 12 years ago. It is still working fine, but it is round, so the shape is not ideal for larger roasts. I also find it to be quite a hassle trying to transport it for potlucks and such (lid taped down, crock pot wrapped in a towel & placed in a box - still sometimes resulting in a mess). Years ago, I used my crock pot once or twice a week, but now that my family is grown, I only need it occasionally. So, when I ran across this manual model on special for a great price during the holidays, I thought I would give it a try. There were lots of reviews for it, both good & bad, so here is my two cents...This is my first oval crock pot and the overall quality of the brand seems to have declined and this is also by far the lightest in weight of all of the crock pots I have owned (none of which have failed, one was lost in a move, I cracked the lid of one and couldn't find a replacement, and I broke the stoneware insert on another). The stainless steel shell on this model would be very easy to damage (dents/scratches) although the stoneware insert seems fine. Heftier extensions on the insert would be nice for lifting it out of the crock pot. I like the idea of the locking lid in principle, but unless I let it air dry in a perfectly vertical position after washing, water can collect inside the clips, can't be reached with a towel. I also don't care for the seal; I thought it would be removable for cleaning like a pressure cooker lid, but as far as I can tell, it is not. After I wash the lid, I use a soft toothbrush to clean around the seal. As far as cooking, this doesn't really seem to be a slow cooker. The first time I used it, I made a four-pound roast and it was done in about half the expected time. I started off on high and turned it down to low after an hour. Luckily, I was home and able to monitor the cooking. With the liquid and vegetables, the crock pot was about 2/3 full and It turned out to be a delicious meal. For the second use, I tried my favorite 13-bean soup loaded with veggies and cooked it on the low setting for the entire time -- in this case, the crock pot was 3/4 full and it took quite a while to come up to heat and considerably longer to finish cooking than the expected time (it was lightly boiling around the edges but not even simmering in the middle) so I turned it up to high to finish it. The veggies were a little overdone so I will need to tweak my recipes a bit in order to use this crock pot efficiently. The high setting comes up to full heat quickly, but boils vigorously and the low setting doesn't heat evenly, so I don't think I will be able to just set and forget this crock pot, which does limit its versatility for me. As many others have mentioned the cord is very short, which I understand is a safety feature, but it seems to me it could be a few inches longer. The stoneware maintains the heat for a long time after turning the unit off. The locking lid works well and will be great for tail-gating or potlucks (my main reason for purchasing, so I don't feel as if I need a fancy model with all of the bells and whistles). Even with the locking lid, transport can still be tricky as the exterior of the crock pot is very hot, so I decided to buy the travel bag for this crock pot, since it was on sale, as well.

Great crockpot!
I love this crockpot! I got the version with the simple knob that turns to low or high. I wouldn't use the timer anyway so why pay the extra $20 for it? I also really love the lockable lid. This keeps the heat from escaping so much more than using a crockpot with a floating lid. I've found it an essential feature in a crockpot. The 6 quart capacity of this crockpot is really perfect for a large family. I have 8 kids and wouldn't need a larger one. Color is great, matches my other appliances.

Excellent
It’s looks like new!! I got it at a discount price for being a returned merchandise. It works perfectly! It’s my favorite crock pot. The insert of the one I had broke and this cost less than buying just the ceramic insert . Using the old base with another insert my mom had. I love the automatic shut off and the timer. One of the best features is that you can carry your food and transport in your car with no spills! I had several spills before so this is awesome!!

I had ordered this product on Amazon. It was after I received the delivery of this product that I realised that this is a product manufactured for use in the United States of America and Canada. This is a high wattage appliance that runs on the 120 V 60 cycles supply. The manufacturers do not provide clear instructions or information on the power rating of this appliance. When contacted via their website, they were categorical that using the device outside of the USA and Canada post is a safety hazard and a strictly not recommended. Cart2India has declined to accept the product as a return , claiming that the product was delivered as promised. One wonders why a trusted brand like Amazon puts up, for sale , on it's portals, an appliance that is not designed for safe usage in India

Used it many times after getting it. Works great. The only thing I’m concerned about is the seal around the cover. It looks thin. Hopefully it will last.
