Good resourceful book for NCLEX-RN review, but best for questions. Don't rely on this book alone.
I haven't take the NCLEX -RN yet, but I felt like it has good information for review and knowing the terms and descriptions of some topics. It might not be the best NCLEX-RN practice for exam, but content and other information.

This lady needs to chill on the nutrition and meds no one has ever heard of questions. I also feel like she sometimes picks more detailed questions instead of concentrating on the main points of the chapter. Overall it covers everything learned in class very well- seriously wish I looked at this while in nursing school! All the facts no of the fluf. Hopefully w/ it i'll pass the ATIs ( my school requires we get into the 90th percentile to graduate) & the Nclex- will update post exams.

It was good for a comprehensive review if you just want the basics, but not for an exclusive use to prepare for the NCLEX RN.

This book helps me to review subjects that I've learned in class. Brand new book and prompt service.

Definitely worth it
I found this book to be very useful, good preparation for the NCLEX-RN. Each chapter focuses on a different body system, the beginning of the chapter has review information, which was useful as some of it I had not learned in school. It was a nice review for things I had learned in the beginning of my program and hadn't encountered since. Each chapter concludes with about 10-15 quiz type questions with about 2 tests at the end of the book. There's also a cd-rom that only works on a Windows computer, does NOT work on a Mac. There's also a code that came for access to online resources with another of more tests. I didn't access the online resources so I can't speak to what they contain, but I believe I read that it contains hundreds of questions. I found this book helpful to my success on the NCLEX and would definitely recommend it. I lent it to a friend and she passed her NCLEX too.
