Works Great with My SSD I’m using this with my XPG Gen4 SSD. Of course, I know it won’t give full Gen4 speed, but since this is my extra SSD, it works perfectly for my needs. Setup was quick and easy, and it’s been running smoothly. Great enclosure overall!

Works very well. One of the best with good heat dissipation. Good Read write speeds. Compatible with windows, linux and mac.

Amazing enclosure. Initially I had ordered Sharge Disk Plus. That was such a bad enclosure and I made a huge mistake to spend ₹6300 on that piece of trash, just because it was a pretty slim design. Ordered this one from Sabrent after I realised that building these enclosures does take a considerable level of engineering, and you should buy an enclosure from a brand that is known for making good quality SSDs as they may have the talent to design a good enclosure as well. Loved it's aluminium finish which def feels sturdy. It does get a lot hot especially when you're editing 4K videos through it tho. I put a WD SN350 SSD into it. Do not even think about putting a Samsung 990 Pro in - you'll regret it. I'd recommend using it in an air-conditioned environment if possible (especially if you live in Delhi like me, you'd know how crazy high the temperatures become in summers).

After buying a PiBox M.2 enclosure i pretty much used it for a year and it stopped working. I claimed warranty and they wouldn't reply or let me claim warranty. There was zero support for PiBox product. I switched to this next and 1 month in this seems to be working with both Crucial and Low End M.2 drive I have purchased. With Crystal Disk mark the benchmarks are completely equal to the specs of hardware. It won't heat up a lot, even tho it has a plastic body. The Internal Thermal Pad also helps, even though I have extra thempad on my drives I've never noticed overheating.

I am using this Sabrent enclosure for a 5 year old mac that has been converted to external NVME bootable device using this enclosure. The thunderbolt cable provided with this enclosure works like a charm and the speeds are to the max possible with an external drive using thunderbolt 3, USB 3.1 Pros a) Build quality b) Ease of use, hardly takes 5 minutes to get up and running c) I booted Mac using NVME installed in this enclosure and its ice cool though used for over 12 hours. Cons a) Not a con but still worth mentioning that this is not as fast as an internal drive but still gives great write and read speeds to the max possible on thunderbolt 3, USB 3.1 because this is the limit with the older mac itself whether you use a faster external NVME or powerful enclosure.

Easy to install and temps are under control. When ssd(samsung 980) is formated to NTFS the speeds are under 500mb/s when formated to exFAT then speeds reached to 1000mb/s , I don't know the exact reason but if any one had speed issues try formating to exFAT format. With exFAT format you can use it with both android and windows
