Good, but overly detailed
Beasley and Nilkaew have produced a superb textbook on introductory networking, well-suited to the vocational or community college classroom. Its strengths are in its detail, its comprehensiveness, and its step-by-step illustrated walkthroughs of common tasks like making a patch cable or setting up Cisco gear. This is also the book's greatest weakness, though, as it contains much of what I consider to be reference material that a budding technician should NOT be studying when attempting to master key concepts like the OSI model, IP addressing, and Windows command line utilities for the CompTIA exam. In the hands of a qualified instructor, this may be a perfect Network+ textbook... but standing alone, I give it four stars out of five.My thanks to Pearson for granting me access to a digital copy of this book.

Okay book
It’s an okay book. It doesn’t have answers in the back. I prefer Mike Meyer Network+ CompTIA book. The newest version will be coming out soon which I pre-paid for.
