I use this for applying kiln wash, as I suppose the product description expects. Works fine. Nice soft bristles.

Great for apply kiln wash
I bought this brush to apply kiln-wash on shelves and molds and it works really well. Easy to shake off excess and coats the items easily. I actually leave it with kiln wash on all the time because that's what I wanted it for. It easily refreshes when I need it even though I don't wash the kiln wash out between applications.

Perfect size, wonderful quality
Awesome brush. I have a couple others of differing sizes. This one is even better quality than the larger brushes. The size is perfect for kiln washing smaller pieces of kiln furniture.
