Q: How come in one answer they say this is not gmo and in the next, that is? what is the story? i imagine if the label doesn't say so, it's not gmo-free.

American soy products (like lecithin) are GMO. Most foreign countries don't allow it.

Q: Is this soy or sunflower lecithin powder?

We have a new supplier that processes it from sunflower, but we still have batches that are from soy- Most likely, if Amazon is going to fulfill the order it will be soy-based.

Q: Bulk supplements stated in their answers below that they have new supplier using sunflower lecithin but yet they sent me out soy lecithin.

The source and many other variables of a product can differ depending on the supplier/manufacturer that the batch is from.

If you look at the back of the package at the ingredients it says soy. Soy isn't bad for all people but if you have a sensitivity to it try sunflower lecithin. Also, I bought this for my dog and cat because I make powder supplement for them that I put in their food.
