Hasegawa 1:48 Scale Typhoon MK.IB Tear Drop Canopy Model Kit

I’m looking for aircraft models that are accurate and easy to assemble. Hasegawa and Tamiya are my favorites. Once again I’m satisfied with the plastic molding, detail, fit, decals and instructions. This kit of the Hawker Typhoon is a great addition to my own collection and was a one-day build. Painting and decals add an another couple of days so an easy project in a single week or divided into two weekends. Enjoy!

Great model to work on.

Pretty easy to assemble, not too much detail but OK. A lot of fun to build and fun to paint.

Very good quality kit. Assembly is straightforward and parts fit very well. Typical Hasegawa quality and parts fit. Excellent price.

I guess Amazon Japan needs stronger boxes, because this is how the package looked out of the container. Model seems to be ok.

The cockpit on this kit was my favorite by far, also the way the machine guns come out of the wings and the way there rocker rails are mounted make this a very cool looking aircraft!! I'm what you would call a "what if" builder, what if the plane looked like this, what if it had this color scheme!? military colors are so drab and boring, instead I have fun and this one was certainly fun!!!
