Not sure what to say about the new formula because I have not tried it.ORIGINAL REVIEW BELOW ------------------This product is awesome. In fact, it exceeded my expectations.First, the product absorbs well and leaves no white or tacky residue like most sunscreens on the market.Second, it does have a mild scent; however, it is not overbearing for me.Third, you don't have to use a lot - a little goes a long, long way.Fourth, I live in an arid region [the desert], and at a high altitude so the UV index is high during the summer months, particularly. Not to mention, I have pale skin......so, I was amazed that this sunscreen could offer incredible protection all day long, outside in the middle of the hottest part of the day [during summer], and I didn't even re-apply! Pretty impressive.Fifth, because this product absorbs well and quickly, it works well as a base underneath make-up. I don't add a foundation layer often, but when I do, I like to have a sunblock that allows for a smooth application. This product is great for that.Sixth, it would be fantastic if the price point was lower, but compared to other face products, the price is still more affordable than many cosmetic brands.Seventh, I should add that I run in the evenings, and this sunscreen appears to resist sweating as well.Eighth, I do have sensitive skin, and this product does not agitate my skin nor clog my pores.I plan to buy more!! I used this product one time when going out bike riding. It went on smoothly and absorbed quickly with no white residue like most natural sunscreens leave. However, I could not tolerate the smell of it and threw it out. Granted, I have a very sensitive sense of smell so it may just be my sensitivity and may be fine for other people.

This sunscreen is nice-- it is non-greasy and I have worn it a couple of times under powder foundation. However, it is so expensive for the amount you get! I have used it maybe 6 times and I am half way through the bottle. I don't know if I will re-buy just because of the price.

Have been using this product for years. Will hopefully be able to continue purchasing until I die. Blends nicely into my olive skin and does not give me ghost face like many other natural sunscreens. No smell. I use it every morning as my moisturizer and never leave home without it.

I like the product however I think price is to high for the size therefore I will not purchase again until I run out of my lancome moisturizer.

This is rated a 2 on the EWG's skindeep database (out of a 0-10 toxicity level) so it's quite safe. It's certainly safer than anything you can find at a store and way more affordable than all other natural options out there. I use it every day since I am a light skinned person with freckles living in the sunny south.

Very greasy...but love that it's vegan.
