One my favorites
Mccormick is one my favorites seasoning company's. I use this type and brand usually in the packet style. Once I saw the bottle kind it hit a home run for Me. It tastes exactly the same (same great quality) just in a larger quantity. It's still made the same way so it continues to be easy to use. Thickness is to your liking but, I always get mine just right. Nice little size bottle it'll last for a little while lol. 10/10 recommend if your a regular gravy user.

Good flavor that takes well to other seasonings
It lacks the flavor of some other gravys, but it is nice to have something like this in the pantry for backup. It is a solid tasting base, and adding some other seasonings or ingredients really does make it stand out. My family last used it for smothered hamburgers and potatoes. I was feeling lazy so I added some dried onions and a brisket rub I had from a local BBQ place. Let it simmer with the finishing burgers in it, and it was a winner. It is also great for when you just want a small amount, like for dipping Smilys.

Downsized
I thought it was a change in container, and i did not examine closely, however its about 1/3 of what it used to be. It is the same product, good alone or to thicken (with care). That said given the label states 9 cups, it's almost easier to buy single serving packets at the market, given sale prices, bulk savings has diminished. To explain "with care" this and most other gravy powders clump when added to hot liquids, sprinkle thinly (so it can't), or sift it through a strainer (adds an item to be washed), otherwise expect to use your whisk/fork/spoon depending on the dish being prepared, to break the clumps up.

THE BEST beef Gravy!
Have been using this brown gravy mix for over a decade. The price for 1 packet at the supermarket is $1.79 now, which equals 1 cup of gravy. This container makes me about 8 cups which equals .79 a cup. So you save $8.00 ordering this container, bargain! Stores don’t sell this near me. It’s a staple in our house for making Salisbury Steak, Sheppard’s Pie, Roast Beef & Beef Pot Pie. I tried the McCormick Premium Brown Gravy mix & didn’t like it at all; it has a totally different taste. The regular kind is Classic & you can’t go wrong.
