One connection. Quick connect hardware is provided. The bladder (diaphragm) is replaceable.
Easy peasy. Set the bladder pressure 2 pounds lower than the lowest system pressure (the pressure at which the pump kicks in). When the bladder fails, instead of replacing the whole tank you can pull the failed bladder out and replace it without having to replace the whole tank, if I understand correctly.Usually the big pain is to empty the old tank (with a compromised bladder) of water to allow it to be carried by humans. Water is heavy.

Customer service is horrible
Customer service is horrible, they won't return messages about any concerns. I received broken and missing parts. Be careful if you do order from this company because they will charge you return shipping fee and restocking fee even though on Amazon it states free returns. Also the quick connect is a major fail, that's why a lot of distributors and suppliers don't offer this model anymore, and good luck trying to find somewhere that sells the drain pipe that's at the bottom when it fails.

Glad I went for the large tank
More than double the capacity of the old 19 gallon it replaced . Deep well Pump does not have to cycle as much - about half . Big tank holds pressure longer time , great for showers .

2.5 years, and now it leaks :(
purchased 11 of 2000 and for the last 8 months water has been seeping from the top (at the point that you air up the bladder) so I am thinking the bladder is compromised also.

The right tank
This replaced the Wellmate tank installed 20 years ago when I built the house. The bladder went bad on that one and couldn't be replaced easily as this one's can.

Satisfyed.
The shippment was super fast and it arrived as discribe. The box where the pressure tank is shipped in was strong so no dammage to the tank. The 47 gallon is perfect for a house for 2-4 persons. I had to change my old tank because it was a metal one that rusted (I live less than 150 feet from the ocean) so the fiberglass is perfect, wont rust. The previous tank was smaller and the pump was going on and off more often. Because the 47 gallon tank is bigger the pump runs longer but less often. Better when you go for a leak in the middle of the night and you don't want to wake everybody up! Just a bit disapointed in the black plastic stand that looks a bit weak. Good combination with the "STA-Rite SND-L Shallow Well Jet Pump 3/4HP" The input/output is a 1'1/4 male NPT and the tank pressure is set up at 20 PSI. Would recommend.
