Wish I had known about these sooner!
I programmed my ESP01s using a USB TTL connector with Dupont cables, then in order to test it, I had to unplug the cables to connect the ESP01 to the Dupont cables in my breadboard. This was a tedious process. Now, I connect the Dupont cables to the breakout board into the USB TTL connector, install the ESP in the breakout board, program it, remove the ESP01, and then plug it into the breakout board that is in the breadboard. It saves a lot of time. I am very satisfied with this purchase!

Awkward to use
Having the ESP8266 hanging out in the air on the end of the board seems clumsy. I guess one can reverse it but then you loose the screen printed identification of the pins. Otherwise, the boards seem to be nicely made.

Rational
They didn't make the ESP-01 breadboard-compatible (the jumpers to the header pins thing is such a pain). This makes that part easy, especially if you're interfacing with an Arduino Uno (mind your pin labels, n00bs).

Perfect for the ESP8266-01
If you play with breadboards a lot trying to make the latest coolest IoT device, this is a huge help for the weird 8 pin ESP8266-01 - I've had my share if chinese cheapy and wrong labelled connectors - this makes it SO easy to hook things up on the bread-board. I even used it on a crude programmer for the same modules soldered together. It's easy to see which direction to put things, and debugging due to the labels is also straight forward.

3 out of 5 - becuase 3 out of 5 arrived unharmed. As for the others...
Warning: shipped without pin protection - individual pieces may arrive damaged.Rated 3 out of 5, as 3 were mostly unharmed while 2 arrived obviously damaged (see attached photo). There are 2 that appear unharmed, 1 (middle) that has very slight bending, and 2 that have obvious bending (2 on right).Simple adapters, aesthetically pleasing - especially compared to my homemade protoboard adapters.

Excellent method to connect ESP8266 to a breadboard
Although none of the ESP8266 I own worked - whether or not they were attached to this board - all of the pins in all of the devices were correctly and securely soldered. Using a multimeter, I ensured that the pins in the socket were connected to only the output pins that would connect to the breadboard. Due to the issues I was having with the ESP8266, I had to ensure that the breakout board was not the problem. These appear to be fully functional boards that will fulfill their purpose.

It would be even better if it had bypass capacitors and programing
Works as advertised. It would be even better if it had bypass capacitors and programing buttons

Works great!
I use these boards for ESP8266 modules, but ALSO for nRF24L01 radio modules as well. They come with an onboard capacitor for ESP8266 modules which is great! But I can easily remove this capacitor with a screwdriver (permanently) and then it can be used with nRF24 modules too. The nRF24 Vcc and Gnd pins are at different locations so this capacitor must be removed for it to work. If I still need a capacitor for it, I can always add an external one.
