Just in Time, Abraham Lincoln

Love everything she does. I buy her books for me, but share them in the classroom & with my many “nieces & nephews”. This book is different because of the time travel element, but lots of historical content too. Fantabulous!!!!

I absolutely loved this book & found myself getting emotional at several points.As a teacher, I read & enjoy every Patricia P.book with all my students.

Another great book by Patricia Polacco. It is timely with the Lincoln movie showing at theaters. Anyone who likes history would love it as well as teachers who study the Civil War. I liked her idea that a trip to a museum can take you to another time and place. Ms. Polacco has two other books about the Civil War: Pink and Say and January's Sparrow.

My adult kids are huge Lincoln fans and are each creating different types of books on events during his lifetime/Presidency. This was a great book that gave them a little bit more insight and creative way to look at history.

Anything Patricia Polacco creates becomes a jewel in any children's book collection. She came to our school, where shemesmerized the children from kindergarten to eightth grade.

This remarkable author never disappoints. She's meticulous in her research and every creation is precious and meaningful. She has become a favorite author of the children in my life and the child in me.

This won't edit as for font size. I have other books that I don't have this problem with. I cannot get this to change font. Too small to read. Very frustrating.
